Noelle's Handiwork

As many of you may know, years ago we went to live in Wales along with the George Hansen family. A few months ago, Matt returned to Wales with George and Cyndy for a work project. While there, Cyndy purchased a antique blessing gown which she bought for her latest grand-daughter to wear at her blessing. Since Noelle is an expert at these kinds of things, she spent many hours restoring and reinforcing the gown so it would be sturdy enough for a baby to wear. The gown is over 150 years old, so it needed quite bit of work. I posted more photos than I normally would, but I wanted you to see Noelle's excellent work!

Getting dressed is a big proposition for a Victorian baby!

Cyndy used an antique handkerchief to make the hat - it is made in such a way that it can be taken apart to use as a hankie at her wedding someday.

Ready to go!
Proud parents - Nate and Lindy Hansen!
Proud papa!
